Day 01: Arrival / Kochi

Day 02: Kochi / Thattekkad

This part of Kerala is purely butterfly country and you spot butterfly species like the Malabar Rose, Paris Peacock, Gladeye Bushbrown, Tamil Catseye, Whitebar Bushbrown, Blue Mormon, Malabar Raven, Red Pierrot and others. Dinner and overnight stay at the local camp or Estate Bungalow in Thattekkad in Kerala, South India.
Day 03: Thattekkad / Munnar

En route go on tours to the Rajamalai wildlife sanctuary and spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Day 04: Munnar / Chinnar / Munnar
Enjoy an early morning breakfast on the day 4 of the Butterfly Week Tour Itinerary with Kerala Travel Tourism and drive to the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. Chinnar supports a large butterfly population within its dense deciduous forests that lie in the rain shadow region of the Western Ghats. During your butterfly tours to this region you are likely to spot species like the Yellow Pansy, Great Eggfly, Blue Pansy, Travencore Evening Brown, Tamil Lacewing, Malabar Banded Swallowtail, Fivebar Swordtail, Cruise, Southern Duffer and lots of other species. Day 05: Munnar / Periyar
Relax during the morning and then set out on a drive to Periyar in the afternoon of the day 5 of the Butterfly Week Tour Itinerary with Kerala Travel Tourism. On arrival at Periyar the tour representative assists you to check in at the forest lodge. Later in the evening go on butterfly tours to the greens close by. Day 07: Periyar / Kochi
On the day 7 of the Butterfly Week Tour Itinerary with Kerala Travel Tourism the tour representative arranges for you to leave for Kochi, Kerala, South India whence you board your flight for your onward destination.
